The Beaver Dam Police Department is investigating a burglary that took place Sunday morning at Rice's Pharmacy.
According to Beaver Dam Police Chief Mike Allen, two unidentified individuals broke into Rice's Pharmacy around 5 a.m. The two men made their entry through the front door after disabling the lock.
The suspects were in the store for less than two minutes and made off with an undetermined amount of narcotics and other medication.
One suspect was dressed in camouflage with a camouflage mask or knit cap, while the other suspect was dressed in dark-colored coat with a black hood pulled over his head. Both suspects carried a blue tote bag.
The suspects fled the scene in a white, four-door Chrysler 300.
Allen has spoken with the Kentucky State Police, and this incident seems to be one in a string of similar crimes committed throughout the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
