Accident on WK Parkway sends man to hospital

An early morning accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway sent an Owensboro man to the hospital Tuesday. According to the Kentucky State Police, around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, Jeffery T. Fox, 50, of Owensboro, was driving his 2006 Jeep west on the Western Kentucky Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway at the 75 mile marker. Fox then struck a guardrail before coming to a stop. Fox was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital by Ohio County EMS and was treated for minor injuries. The KSP was also assisted by the Beaver Dam Fire Department.
