A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has started asphalt paving along several highways in Ohio County.
Motorists should be alert for paving activities at the following locations:
KY 369/Rochester Road from the 9 mile marker about 1.5 miles south of the KY 2714 intersection extending north to Buttermilk Lane at mile point 11.466, a distance to 2.47 miles
KY 764 from mile point 0.0 at the Ohio-Daviess County Line extending east to Ohio-Daviess County Line at mile point8.708, a distance of 8.7 miles.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required.
Scotty’s Contracting and Stone, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $907,319 highway improvement project. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
