Ohio County High has a new boys’ head soccer coach in Cameron Switzer. Switzer, a Physical Education teacher at Wayland Alexander Elementary in Hartford, replaces Jeff York who guided the Eagles’ fortunes for the last five seasons.
Switzer, a graduate of Dixie Heights High School, played collegiately at Kentucky Wesleyan for four seasons from 2006-‘09. His new job will be his first in the high school ranks after working with younger players as a volunteer coach and at high school team camps and individually on specific skills and training methods.
“I am excited and can’t wait to get started working with the team,” Switzer said in a Monday e-mail.
