An Owensboro woman was been arrested for drug trafficking after the end of a three-week investigation.

Detectives from the Ohio County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) and Pennyrile Drug Task Force wrapped up a three-week investigation, where an Owensboro woman was found to be distributing large quantities of prescription medication in the Ohio County area.
Rachel M. Morris, 35, of the 6700 block of Leslie Lane in Owensboro, was arrested on Thursday, October 9, without incident.
She allegedly sold a detective of the Pennyrile Drug Task Force prescription medication on two separate occasions.
The first transaction took place on September 17, when she allegedly sold the detective 60 Adderall. The second transaction took place on October 9, when she allegedly sold the detective an additional 284 prescription pills.
Morris was charged with one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance and one count of third degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
