TO THE VOTERS OF THE SECOND DISTRICT/BEAVER DAM:
My wife Karon (Kerry) Nance and I have lived our entire adult lives in Beaver Dam, our home. As a Constable you are a Police Officer and expected to provide safety and security to your community. I have many times, over the years, put myself in harm's way to rescue or save someone's property or livelihood.
Let me take this time and reflect back on my profession. I have served for over 26 years as a police officer, over 12 years in industrial security, and many years in other fields of public safety. I have graduated from three police academies, all taught by the Kentucky State Police, receiving the highest level of training. Training has always been one of my highest priorities.
I’m proud of my accomplishments and what I’ve been able to achieve. I survived an assassination plot, my daughter and I rescued a 7 year-old little girl from her burning home and revived her with CPR, and I rescued and extricated a severely injured man from his burning auto, the results of an auto accident. During a Federal Court case in which I was a witness to testify, the Federal Judge, after reviewing my then qualifications, qualified me as an expert in proper police procedure.
I’ve patrolled your roads and answered your calls for help. For over seven years I was part of a multi-agency/multi-county task force, hunting and removing marijuana from our communities. I’ve apprehended a person on the FBI terrorist watch list.
I’m humble and proud of the support you have shown in my campaign. I’m again asking for you to step forward, ELECT MIKE NANCE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE for SECOND DISTRICT CONSTABLE. Together we can work toward making the Second District and Ohio County what we want it to be. Trained, Experienced, and Dedicated!
