To encourage excitement for school and good relationships with families, on July 31 Wayland Elementary staff took a bus ride through their school district. Many families met the bus at designated stops on the route. The Wayland Family Resource Center provided children’s books and pencils, which teachers distributed a little candy.
This fun event was such a success that it is likely to become a Wayland tradition.
