Two people were sent to the hospital after a head collision Friday evening.According to a press release from the Ohio County Sheriff's Department (OCSD), around 7 p.m. last night, the Ohio County 911 Dispatch Center received a call about a two vehicle head on collision at the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 South and Old Liberty Church Road. The OCSD, Ohio county EMS and the Beaver Dam Fire Department (BDFD) responded to the scene. The initial investigation showed that a Dodge Durango, driven by James Rowan of Caneyville, crossed the centerline and struck a Chrysler PT Cruiser head-on, that was driven by Doris Brown of Beaver Dam.Brown was extricated from her vehicle by the BDFD and flown by PHI Aeromedical to Louisville for treatment of her injuries.Rowan was transported by Ohio County EMS to Ohio County Hospital for treatment of his injuries.The investigation is ongoing at this time.
