Complaint leads to prescription drug bust

[caption id="attachment_15604" align="alignright" width="158"]Melissa Seaton Melissa Seaton[/caption] A complaint received by the Ohio County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of a Centertown woman who was using two juveniles to help in her operation. On Nov. 1, OCSO's Narcotics Unit received a complaint alleging an individual was illegally selling her prescription medication. In addition, it was reported this individual had involved two juveniles to help package and/or transport the narcotics during the sale of these drugs. The investigation revealed Melinda A. Seaton, 39, of the 3600 block of Matanzas Road in Centertown, was selling the Percocet and Morphine she had been prescribed. She was taken into custody on Dec. 2, by OCSO detectives. Additionally, two prescription bottles were seized. Ms. Seaton was charged with one count of first degree unlawful transaction with a minor, illegal controlled substance, under/18 years of age. She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
