Beaver Dam Park to be closed May 19-20 for parking lot improvement

Trees planted at the entrance of Beaver Dam Park.

The Beaver Dam Park will close at noon on Tuesday, May 19, and be closed all day on Wednesday, May 20, while improvements are made to the parking lot. Beaver Dam city and Ohio County Road Department crews will be working during that time to put down a chip and seal surface on the parking lot. This new surface will help alleviate the dust issue in the parking lot. Any ball games or practices scheduled during this time will be canceled. Beaver Dam Mayor Paul Sandefur wanted to thank Judge-Executive David Johnston, 2nd District Magistrate Jason Bullock and the Ohio County Fiscal Court Magistrates for their support and assistance with this project.
