An Ohio County woman was arrested on drug charges last night after a traffic stop by the Kentucky State Police (KSP).
According to a press release from the KSP, last night around 10 p.m., the KSP made a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevy Cavalier on KY 54 near KY 919 in Fordsville. The driver, Denise L. McDaniel, of Fordsville, was stopped for a traffic violation.
After further investigation at the scene, McDaniel, 42, was arrested without incident and taken to the Ohio County Detention Center.
McDaniel was charged with careless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to produce a license, failure to produce insurance card and no registration receipt.
