
An Ohio County woman has been charged with four counts of theft after an investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
According to a press release from the Kentucky State Police (KSP), the KSP responded to a complaint from the Ohio County Eagles Boosters, Inc., about the theft of funds from the Ohio County Dance Team Boosters.
During the investigation it was found former Ohio County Dance Team Booster President, Susan L. Stewart, of Beaver Dam, had allegedly committed the theft.
The KSP discovered there were at least four instances, between September and December 2014, where Stewart misappropriated funds totaling $1,405.
Stewart, 42, was arrested and charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking $500 or more , but under $10,000 and three counts of theft by unlawful taking under $500. She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center before being released.
The investigation is ongoing.
