It seems Ohio County has not escaped winter's clutches just yet, as the National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville has issued a Special Weather Statement for the area. According to the NWS, light snow accumulations will be possible Wednesday night and Thursday. A storm system will track well south of the region Wednesday night. Moisture wrapping around this system will bring some chance for light snows Wednesday night and Thursday. At this point, the best chance for light accumulations is over the Lake Cumberland region of Kentucky. Lighter accumulations are possible farther north and west, as another weaker system drops in from the Northwest. It is still too early to predict any accumulation totals.
