BDPD receives donation from local pastor

Pictured L-to-R: Austin, Brandon Hunt, Kalem Hunt and BDPD Chief Mike Allen.[/caption] SUBMITTED The Beaver Dam Police Department (BDPD) recently received a generous and unexpected local donation.  Kalem Hunt and Brandon Hunt, both of Beaver Dam, presented Beaver Dam Police Chief Mike Allen with a $500 check last week. The check was donated by Ray Austin, pastor of Barnes Chapel United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam. Austin's donation is to be used at the discretion of the police department for community involvement and awareness. Chief Allen said that he and the officers of the BDPD are very appreciative of the donation and look forward to putting the funds to great use in the community.
