Ohio County led 16-14 after one period and then ran out to a 29-17 halftime lead. The Lady Colonels got to within 36-31 after three quarters, and took the lead at 38-36. The lead then changed hands twice, with Christian County’s full-court press helping them go ahead 46-45 with less than two minuts to play. But a Kiana Barrett basket, four points from Cristen Scoggins, and two from Parker gave the Lady Eagles a 53-46 lead in the final seconds. GeNaisha Robinson’s last-second 3-point basket settled the final score. Robinson was the only Christian County player to score in double digits. The visitors outrebounded Ohio County by a 51-39 margin, with Robinson grabbing 11, but were hurt by 24 turnovers. Morgan Marksberry topped OCHS’ rebounders with eight.
