Ohio County High School recognized former boys’ basketball coach Paul Decker Friday night for having the most career wins. In nine seasons as Eagle head coach, Decker compiled a record of 158-104 (60.3% winning percentage) including two 10th District championships and a Third Region title in 2013.
In recognition of his achievement, Decker — who is now assistant principal at Beaver Dam Elementary School — received a replica of the banner hanging in the OCHS gym honoring the 2013 Sweet 16 squad.
Decker, a former star player at OCHS and 1993 Third Region Player of the Year, surpassed Brad Stanley’s 156 wins compiled from 1988-1995.
