A Fordsville man was arrested Tuesday afternoon, after authorities found a meth lab on his property.
On Tuesday afternoon, around 5 p.m., the Kentucky State Police responded to an address on State Route 1700 after receiving a tip of drug activity at the residence. According to a press release from the KSP, during the search of the residence a one step meth lab was found in a camper near the residence. Methamphetamine was also found in the camper.
Corey Cornett, 23, of Fordsville, was arrested and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The KSP responded to the scene to clean up the meth Lab. The KSP was assisted by the Ohio County Sheriff's Department in the arrest.
