Beaver Dam’s Marilu Adams qualified for next April’s Boston Marathon with her finish in Nov. 1’s Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.Adams, competing in the women’s 55-59 division, covered the 26-mile, 385-yard course in four hours, five minutes and 43 seconds, bettering Boston’s qualifying standard for her age group.Adams, 55, placed fifth among 61 runners in her division, and placed 1,697th among the 3,736 runners completing the marathon course. She was the only local runner of 12 competing that Saturday to run a qualifying time.
