***UPDATE*** 10-24-14 1:25 p.m. According to the sheriff's department, all four lanes of the Natcher Parkway are open at this time.
***UPDATE*** 10-24-14 12:45 p.m. According to the sheriff's department, both southbound lanes and the inside northbound lane of the Natcher Parkway at the 40 mile marker are open. The outside northbound lane should re-open in about an hour.
The Natcher Parkway has been shut down due to an accident, according to the Ohio County Sheriff's Department's (OCSD) Facebook page.
According to the OCSD, Deputies Chris Stafford, Keith Harrell, Rodney, McMillin and Nick Eskridge, along with the Hartford Fire Department, Ohio County EMS, and Ohio County EMA, are on the scene of an accident on the Natcher Parkway, near the 40 mile marker in the northbound lane.
A dump truck has run off the road and overturned. All four lanes are now shut down. The OCSD will let everyone when the parkway has been re-opened.
