A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has added a lane and load width restriction for southbound traffic to an existing work zone load width restriction for northbound traffic along the William Natcher Parkway in Ohio County.
The work zone at Natcher Parkway mile point 51.49 is to allow joint replacement, painting, and deck maintenance work on the Rough River Bridge now includes a lane and load width restriction for both northbound and southbound traffic.
This work zone lane restriction includes a 12 ft. maximum load with for over-dimensional trucks starting today.
This work zone includes a 55 mile per hour speed limit with double fines and an enhanced enforcement presence.
Euro Paint, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $606,332 bridge improvement project.
